Sugar Hollow Reservoir & Moormans River Trails

A 1947 reservoir in western Albemarle reached through White Hall, with an unpaved parking area just outside the Shenandoah National Park boundary. The North Fork Moormans River Trail runs 4.6 miles round-trip to Big Branch Falls, or 5.9 miles up to Blackrock Gap on Skyline Drive and the Appalachian Trail.
