Rockfish Gap / Afton Mountain

The Blue Ridge crossing at the western edge of Albemarle County where I-64 and US 250 climb the mountain, marking the southern terminus of Skyline Drive and the northern terminus of the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Appalachian Trail crosses here and the gap sits at the meeting point of Albemarle, Augusta and Nelson counties.
