Bald Top Brewing Co. is Virginia's first historic farm brewery, set on a scenic working farm at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Madison, Virginia. The taproom pours 20 taps of house-crafted beers — from award-winning wheat ales and pilsners to bold IPAs and stouts — alongside wine and cider, with growler fills and pre-filled crowlers to take home. Each beer is inspired by the farm's storied history, with names like Dueling Diplomats, Manor House Ale, and White Oak Stout that nod to the land's 19th-century past. The Scratch Kitchen serves made-from-scratch food anchored by a wood-fired pizza oven, with techniques rooted in Brooklyn tradition. The menu spans artisanal pizzas, BBQ, and small plates, all crafted from fresh, local ingredients. Thursday nights bring weekly trivia from 6:30–8:30 PM, while live music fills the stage most Friday and Saturday evenings from 6–9 PM, covering everything from bluegrass and blues to rock and country. With ample indoor and outdoor seating, fire pits, and sweeping farm views, Bald Top is a destination for groups, celebrations, and casual evenings alike.
