Skyline Drive (Thornton Gap to Hogback section)

The stretch of Skyline Drive that straddles the Page-Rappahannock county line, running north and south from the Thornton Gap entrance past Mary's Rock Tunnel, Hazel Mountain Overlook and the Little Devils Stairs Overlook. The 600-foot Mary's Rock Tunnel, blasted through solid granite, was the road's greatest construction challenge.
