Mary's Rock via Panorama

A 3.7-mile round-trip hike on the Appalachian Trail from the Panorama parking area at Thornton Gap to the Mary's Rock summit, with roughly 1,210 feet of elevation gain and about two and a quarter hours of hiking. The greenstone outcrop delivers near-360-degree views over the Shenandoah Valley, Massanutten ridge and the Piedmont.
