Shenandoah River State Park

A 1,600-acre Virginia state park stretching along 5.2 miles of South Fork Shenandoah River shoreline, about 8 miles south of Front Royal on Route 340. It has more than 20 miles of trails, river overlooks, car-top boat launches, picnic shelters, a visitor center, and lodging that includes cabins, yurts, camping cabins, riverfront primitive tent sites, and an RV campground with water/electric hookups.
