Rapidan Camp (Camp Hoover)

President Herbert Hoover's restored fishing retreat at the confluence of Mill Prong and Laurel Prong, deep in the Rapidan headwaters. It is a National Historic Landmark; the Brown House and two other original cabins survive, reachable by a four-mile round-trip hike from Milam Gap on Skyline Drive or by ranger-led van tour.
